The National Association of Securities Broker Salesmen, Inc. (NASBI) successfully concluded its 2026 Annual Membership Meeting and Convention held on June 26–27, 2026 at Westgrove Hotel & Resort in Tanauan, Batangas, bringing together members from various banks and financial institutions across the country for two days of learning, collaboration, and fellowship.

This year’s convention was well attended, reaffirming NASBI’s commitment to fostering professional excellence and strengthening ties within the securities and investment industry. Members participated in insightful discussions on key developments shaping both the local and global economic landscape.

The Association was honored to welcome Ms. Lorelei Fernandez of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as the keynote speaker, who shared valuable insights on current regulatory and market developments. Participants also benefited from two engaging virtual economic outlook sessions: Ms. Domini Velasquez of China Bank discussed the outlook for the Philippine economy and local markets, while Mr. John Lagman of Bloomberg provided an in-depth perspective on global markets, including developments in the U.S. economy, Federal Reserve policy, and foreign exchange trends.

Beyond the learning sessions, members enjoyed an unforgettable “Denim and Diamonds” Fun Night, which showcased the vibrant spirit and camaraderie of the Association. Among the evening’s highlights were the much-anticipated Outfit Parade, where members confidently embraced the theme with creativity and style, and an energetic live band performance that kept everyone singing and celebrating together. Exciting games and raffle prizes added to the festive atmosphere, making the evening one of the convention’s most memorable moments.

The convention experience was made even more special by the warm hospitality of Westgrove Hotel & Resort, whose attentive service and generous spread of delicious food throughout the event were greatly appreciated by all attendees.

A key highlight of the Annual Membership Meeting was the nomination and election of the NASBI Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term. The newly elected officers are:
